Brief Description:  Brake line isntallation - panel base installation

Completed step 1 page 27-05 - As shown in Figure 1, the F-1289C-L & -R Main Brake Lines run from between the F-1204A & D Center Section Bulkheads to the master cylinders on the left side of the fuselage. Started by installing the nuts at the aft end of the main brake lines, then routed the main brake lines forward, through the snap bushings and F-1276C Systems Blocks, to the left side master cylinders. The forward end of the main brake lines were secured as directed in Steps 2-5, the aft end of the main brake lines are secured later in Section 35, Landing Gear & Engine Mount. Completed step 2 -Installed the nuts on the forward end of the F-1289C-L & -R Main Brake Lines. Completed step 3 - marked the F-1289C-L Main Brake Line 28 inches from its forward end and the F-1289C-R Main Brake Line 27 1/2 inches from its forward end. Completed step 4 - At the marks made in Step 3, secured the F-1289C-L & -R Main Brake . ' Lines to the F-1217A-R Tunnel Rib using the hardware called out in Figure 2. Completed step 5 – secured the F-1289C-L&R main brake lines to the lower elbow of both left side master cylinders as shown in Figure 2. Completed step 1 page 27-06 - Installed the nuts on one end of both the F-1289C-L & -R Reservoir Brake Lines. Completed step 2 - Secured the F-1289C-L & -R Reservoir Brake Lines to the upper elbow of both right side master cylinders as shown in Figure 1 . The other end of the reservoir brake lines will be secured to the brake reservoir in Section 32. Flight Controls. Section 27 is complete.

Completed step 10 page 29A-05 - Riveted the Panel Base Assembly to the F-1201A Firewall Upper and F-1255-L and -R Longerons. Riveted on the three nutplates common to the Panel Base Assembly and the firewall upper. Riveted the F-1202H-L and -R Canopy Rib Assemblies to the Panel Base Assembly and firewall upper. See Figure 3.
