Brief Description: Brake master cylinder fittings and tubing
Completed step 4 page 27-04 - Threaded the brass elbows, called out in Figure 2, into the ports of the master cylinders as shown (used a small amount of Loctite pipe thread sealant on the threads). Noted that the elbows in the lower ports are clocked to direct their corresponding brake lines between the elbows in the upper ports. The elbows in the upper ports were directed upward. Completed step 5 – assembled the F-1289B – L&R cross over barke lines per Figure 2 using step 1-3 as guidance for installing fittings on tubes. Used #29 drill per section 5 to allow the inserts to be pushed into the tubes. Tightened tube fittings one turn per section 5 after finger tight.
