Completed step 8 page 23-06for the left side skin - Riveted the F-1270-L & -R Fuselage Side Skins, F-1270A and F-1270D Side Skin Doublers, F-1255-L & -R Longerons, F-1205A Roll Bar Attach Plates and F-1234-L & -R Canopy Decks to the fuselage assembly as shown in Figure 1 per 23-09 Figure 1 for rivet locations types. Completed step 1 page 29A-02 - Marked two lengths of AN257-P3 piano hinge to make the F-12116-L and F-12116-R Mid Cowl Hinges per the dimensions in Figure 1. Removed the hinge pin then cut the hinge to length. Completed step 2 - Made the F-1201J and F-1201K Upper Cowl Hinges from AN257-P3 piano hinge per the dimensions in Figure 2. Removed the hinge pin before cutting the parts to length. Started step 3 - completed dimpling of the F-1201P Firewall Spacers and corresponding screw and rivet holes in the F-1201A Firewall Upper as shown in Figure 3
