Brief Description: Canopy catch installation and latch plate
Completed steps 1-3 page 34-25 for installation of canopy catch F-1231G.Since I installed it prior to assembly of frames did not have to remove rivets per step 1. However made an error because I installed the catch to F-1231A-FR frame before installation of the F-1231A-FL frame – the catch portion of F-1231G covered 3 rivet holes where LP4-3 rivets could not be installed from front. After looking at how the catch works and WD-1218 handle determined that shop heads would not interfere so I installed the LP4-3 rivets with manufactured heads on inside. Completed step 4 page 24-02 – riveted-1231F latch plate to the F-1201A-AR roll bar frame and aft splice plate per figure 1.
