Brief Description:  Preped lower firewall and tunnel ribs

Completed step 1 – page 22-02 - Dimpled the #40 holes in the nutplate attach pattern labeled "Return Line Clamp" on the F-1201C Firewall Bottom, flush aft side. See Figure 4. Worked step 2 - Machine countersunk the nutplate attach holes in the sloped upper flange of the F-1217A-L & -R Tunnel Ribs as shown in Figure 1. Machine countersunk the upper most hole in the F-1288 Cooler Stiffener. See Figure 1. Made an error and instead of machine countersink on the F-1272 Forward Fuse Skin I accidently used the dimple dies – realized the mistake after completing all of them. Will have to order a new part from Vans. Prepped firewall and F-1217A- L&R tunnel ribs and primed the parts (firewall only primed on aft side). Completed step 7 - Trimmed the flange of the F-1288 Cooler Stiffener as shown in Figure 2. Completed step 14 - Used a unibit to enlarge the hole between the gascolator attach holes per the dimension given in Figure 4. Drew a cross hair out from the hole for reference. After opening the hole clecoed the tunnel rib in place and used a Dremel to remove the part of the flange material that overlapped the hole. Took the gascolator with proper fitting to check hole location and clearance – all looked good.
