Brief Description: Mounting the Oil Tank/ Oil Cooler
Drill out lower spacer attach oil tank mounting brackets to aft side of fire wall upper and lower, secured with AN3 blots and locknuts. Attach stainless sreel worm claamps through loops on exterior of tank and secure to mounting brackets. Secure MGL semiconductor oil temp sensor to 1/8" NPT female fitting on bottom of tank using teflon thread tape.
Fabricate lower oil cooler mounting brackets from 1'1/2 x 1/8 Al angle stock and secure to enging mounting lower frame, below oil sump tank, using 1" Adel clamps secured with 1/4" x 3/4" machine screws, washers and locknuts (4 sets). Fabticate upper oil cooler mounting brackets with shor tlengths of 1" x 1/16" Al angle stock. Drill out 1/4"holes in both and secure with 1/4" stainless steel bolts upper and AN4-6A bolts lower, all secured with locknuts. Drill out and rivet upper brackets to engine fraame with 3/16" HM-16 rivets.
