Install HE-50 onto HB-40 folding elevator weldment hinge bodies and thehn slide HE-50 (L&R) into elevator until hinge lines up with those on horizontal stabilizer. Lock in stabilizer and elevator as shown on Folding Tail Dwgs and in Insts. 10 and 11. When both elevators are level with one another riet HE-50 in with HM-14L (1/8") long rivets. Drill 3/16" holes into HE-50 and attach hinge bodies HC-105 with HH-21 (AN3-13A) bolts into rivnuts. Reassemble tail hinges with HH-91 (AN3-14) bolts and castle nuts.
Finish bolting in folding mechanism HB-40 with AN4-14A bolts and locknuts.
