This is the connection of the oil separator to the exhaust pipe. I did not want to weld a piece of tube directly to the exhaust pipe for fear of cracks so I manufactured this gadget from stainless steel which will be attached to the exhaust pipe using two clamps. Rather than welding I used silver brazing which is really strong and withstands vibration (remember HD motocycle frames?).
