Brief Description: Gascolator & electric fuel pump
Drilled holes for mounting phenolic back board onto rear steel cage of fuselage. Drilled more holes to mount the gascolator and electric fuel pump. Decided to reshape the phenolic board: more cutting and sanding. On and off...
Attached both items to board and to airplane frame. Made a fuel connection between gascolator and electric fuel pump (3/8" aluminum tubing). Bent tubing and flared the ends, attached with fititngs.
Measured, cut, bent, rebent, ben again, cut, back and forth, remembered to put on fuel fittings before bending uexcept for last bend, finally got it all right between gascolator and fuel sump.
