Spent hours and hours deciding the pros and cons of the gascolator location. In front of firewall, low?This would be a tight spot and would require cutting out an opening in the bottom of the cowling. The engine mount restricted the drilling of the firewall. Other problems with that spot.
Finally opted for placing the gascolator behind the seats in the ground plane and below the header tank (yet to be constructed).
