Sanded gel coat off windshield deck where it curves around S-1 tube. Cut 4 slits into each curve with hand saw for better fit. Put 2-bid carbon fiber strips over the slits and let cure overnight.
Preliminary opening of 6 air intake vents in upper cowling. Used dremmel with aggresive bit. What a mess! Bill held the vacuum and that really helps.
