Opted to use a screw and nut combination to join door handles through Lexan, in case they need to be taken off in the future. The supplied nutsert seems too permanent.
Lexan doesn't fit snuggly against outside, so will likely add a phenolic support to attach rub block, then attach the phenolic to frame. Tested several thicknesses.
