This entry covers a week of work...all wasted. I purchased a dry transfer decal system to do my own lettering on the panel. I bought a laser printer, two laminators and the dry transfer kit. I spent a week attempting to master the technique but had very limited success. In the wet stage, the lettering floated off the base most of the time. I finally gave up and flew the panel to Penn Avionics in Brandywine, PA for silk screening. The 500 bucks that they charge is less than I spent on the dry transfer system. They say it will take around 4 weeks so it should be ready late November.
