Brief Description: Flap rigging & Elevator mounting problems
Rigged left wing flap. Reinstalled right wing flap. Mounted elevator on closed out h stab. Adjusted elevator travel. Widened stab cavity for elevator counterweight on left side. Increased the size of the hinge access slots on underside of elevators. Was able to insert bolt and washer from underside. Unable to tighten nuts. Slot is cut aft to the elevator neutral underlap line with the stab. Cutting further aft would expose this opening in cruise with elevators neutral. I can get a wrench on the bolt but there is not enough room to rotate the bolt or nut more than a fraction of a degree. A socket will not fit in.
