Applied thin layer of grease to cowling hinge pin and threaded end. Screwed threaded end into receiver until flush. With receiver free floating in previously cut slot, added epoxy/flox around inside and outside of receiver. When the pin is removed, the flox will have a "tunnel" to guide the pin into the first hinge loop. The flox will also prevent the pin from screwing in beyond flush. After cure I was able to easily unscrew pin from receiver.
Added epoxy/flox to areas of PVC / plexiglass intersection previously used for duct tape. Bonded lens to cowling with hysol. Added 2 bid carbon connecting PVC to plexiglass at aft portion of assembly.
