Attempted to cut previously cut plexiglass landing light lens to shape. Cracked lens. Located previously constructed plaster mold of cowling. Cut stock plexiglass and layed in mold. Heated to 260 degrees F for30 minutes. Molded new lens successfully.
Purchased 4" PVC pipe and coupling. Shaped pipe to conform to curves in lens. Bonded coupling to pipe.
