Started to install factory supplied baggage door brackets. Found that these brackets contacted the baggage door too close to the top where it would be difficult to lay up flange bids.
Fabricated new brackets from 1/8" 6061 T6 aluminum stock. Didn't turn out too bad considering that I just used hand tools, and a drill press. The new brackets contact door on a flat spot that will make for a better attach point. Painted new brackets with grey spray paint.
Layed up two small 2 bid carbon tapes connecting fus halves at the baggage door. Applied micro to outboard side of layup.
