Ground and sanded carbon fairings and removed excess carbon from cowling sides. Fabricated small foam spacers and attached to sides of existing carbon fairings. Mixed 5 large cups of micro and spread over fairings and foam. Sculpted wet micro into more aerodynamic shape than origional shape. Will further shape them with sanding. After acceptable shape is attained, I'll put 4 bid carbon over the fairings and grind out the old carbon from the inside.
