Drilled holes in fuselage top for shoulder harness attach studs. Studs are potted in AN6-6A bolts. On left side, drilled through outer carbon, honeycomb core and thick inner carbon. The inner carbon is part of the rollover structure and is quite robust. Oversized the hole through the outer carbon to accomodate the bolt head. Removed core 3/8" around outer hole. Put washers and nut on bolt to hold in place and filled the hole around the bolt head with a thick epoxy/flox mixture.
On right side, attempted the exact same procedure but found that the hole drilled EXACTLY where called out in the manual did not pass through the honeycomb core. Had to drill another hole 1 1/2 inches further forward. Bolt potted in as described above.
Patched origional hole with epoxy/flox. See photo #3 below.
Continued hooking up fat wires on the relay panel as well as routing through firewall wires.
