Trimmed phenolic wire bases. Bonded bases to cowling top with hysol. Held wires against cowling with nylon slider and small shot bag. This tilted the phenolic bases slightly inward to produce a curve in the wires once the assembly cures. It is hoped that this slight curve will provide a small spring action to hold the oil door against the cowling.
