Fabricated covers for cabin door hinge cove in top of fuselage. Made inner covers that fit just inside the cove. Made outer covers that overlap the cove slightly. Bonded these pieces together with epoxy/flox.
Drilled hole through cove covers and through top of fuselage in the middle of the door hinge. Covers will attach with #6 machine screw through this hole.
Adjusted fit of cabin door by putting AN960 washers between door and fwd hinge. This shifts the bottom of the door forward very slightly to better align the alignment pin and the nylon alignment slot.
