Made stock 2-core-2 foam sandwich: (extra details here for Wes)
Covered table area with 2 mil plastic sheet. Taped down to remove wrinkles. Covered plastic with dacron peel ply. Taped darcron down to remove wrinkles and hold in place. Layed 2 layers of dry carbon cloth slightly larger than 24 x 48 on peel ply. Wet out carbon, worked resin into cloth and peel ply with squeegee.
Spread wet micro/epoxy mixture on one side of 1/4" foam. Worked micro into foam with squeege. Placed foam, micro side down, onto wet carbon cloth. Spread wet micro/epoxy mixture on exposed side of foam. Worked micro into foam with squeegee
Had previously cut 2 layers of carbon cloth rolled up. Carefully rolled carbon onto wet foam. Added epoxy and worked into cloth.
Covered carbon with dacron peel ply. Worked peel ply onto carbon with squeegee.
