Brief Description:  Wiring engine electric plant 1

Wired the engine compartment mainly as described in the ICP manual but added additional wires for an amp-shunt, electronic fuel pressure sensor. new oil pressure sensor and the airbox temp sensor. Also added a 22 mF capacitor to protect the regulator if, by mistake, the battery is disconnected while the engine is still running (recommended by Rotax) ( the small blue thing squeezed in the upper engine mount, see image1). I also added a second engine ground, just in case. Added protection sheet on all wires and connected them to ground, regulator, starting relay and instrument panel, respectively. I made a note that I'm not sure I grounded the shielded wires of the induction unit (electronic module) correctly. The 50 amp fuse is a bit stiff and difficult to bend and it would have been easier to attach it to the regulator had the regulator connectorst been turned 90 degrees to the left in stead of upward.
