Windshield Fairing (1/3)
Windshield Fairing:
The windshield fairing was made from a carbon fibre lay-up molded on the aircraft, using the following steps:
- Windshield and cowling protection using duct tape and marking out fairing outline.
- Sewing of carbon fibre layers to prevent fraying
- Laying up carbon fibre strips
- Marking out outline of fairing.
