Cabin Air Supply for Heating and Cooling (cntd)
The hot air supply to the defroster and the cabin is ducted via the dump air valve to the defroster and the cabin heating outlets. A standard 2" Inline Heater/Defroster Valve was used with a purpose made fibreglass T-junction added to connect the valve to the two defroster outlets. The SCAT ducting for the outlets are 1.75" and the outlets were sourced from standard HDPE vacuum cleaner nozzles. Outlets were rivetted to the openings in the bootcowl.

2" Inline selector valve connected to the dumpvalve on the firewall forward side
Fibreglass T-junction with SCAT ducting connections to the defroster outlets
