Installation of Belly Panels behind Exhaust Funnel
- Prepared template for belly panel to locate shock absorber penetrations using 1/16' ply. ply stiffness allowed the mock-up to be gleco'd in place - Transferred template outline, hole penetrations (shock absorber, gascolator drain valve, brakeline cutout) and gleco hole locations to aluminium skin and cut skin to suit. - Prepared bends in panel to match geometry of airframe - Installed belly panel and checked for clearances, completed final trimming of overlaps with cowl and sidepanels - Rivetted panel to airframe
