Brief Description: Install flap actuation system and flap springs
Flap Actuator Arm and Torque Tube Installation:
- Temporarily installed flap acuating system and torque rod to check alignment. Found binding (misaligned actuating arm) as for starboard wing. Corrected alignment to free torque tube by elongating upper bolt holes in actuator arm attachments to front and rear spars
- Installed spacers in elongated holes, Installed flap actuator arm, torque tube and greased both bearing tubes (in-and outboard. Torqued all bolts on actuator arm attachment.
- Degreased and installed inboard torque tube bearing bolts with threadlocker and torqued bolts
