Assembly of shock struts
Assembly of Shock Struts:
- Turned down and polished strut rod plunger at top over length of strut operation to achieve smooth operation with bronze top cap
- checked operation of top cap to esure no tight spots over range of operation
- Installed O-rings in piston and top cap and installed plunger in strut casing
Polished strut rod end
Compression spring installed
Top cap placed on plunger
