The original floor board layout followed closely the details shown in the construction manual. However, after the installation of the auxiliary fuel pump system it was realised that the existing floor board arrangement no longer provide easy access for servicing the installed components, as the floor board removal also made it necessary to remove the Joy Stick support. Thus the floorboard forward of the pilot seat was split into three parts.The rear part included the Joy Stick support ararngement and the front part was split into a LHS and RHS panel. The LHS panel allows easy access to the gasculator, the fuel filter and the fuel selector valve, while the RHS panel provides access to the auxiliary fuel pump.
