- Roughly trimmed side panels and rolled to radii to suit nosebowl and firewall interfaces - Insatlled 3/4" alluminium angle on side panels - Installed full length stainless steel piano hinge to channe/angle - Fitted assembly to airframe and used same method, as for bottom cowl, i.e. three ratchet straps to tension the sidepanels to match up with the nosebowl/bottom rail firewall laps - Drilled holes for future Dzus cowl fasteners - Marked out laps with nosebowl, bottom cowl and bootcowl, removed assembly from airframe - Trimmed all edges and cleaned up edges and reinstalled assembly for final alignment check
