We installed the stairs to the mezz by bolting it to a supporting RSJ. It only took a few hours and minor mods to the last step. The rest of this weekend was taken up insulating the galvanise roof. This is necessary as condensation can build up on roof in the morning after a cold night. Resulting in indoor rain. Not good! We nailed slating laths perpendicular to the roof cross beams to hold the polystyrene sheets in place. Lengths of slating felt will then be nailed to the lower surface of the roof in order to divert any water drops away. It was a busy weekend but the cost of reroofing the hangar with insulated galvanise sheeting was too much.
