Due to other committments, I have not done much work on the RV lately, anyway here is an update of the few bits that that I have managed to do.I ssprayed the inside of the fresh air intake matt black, I think it will look better than leaving the cream plastic showing. I have bonded it to the side skin with PU adhesive sealer, I use this stuff a lot in my line of work and beleive me once its gone off it aint going anywhere, so no need for extra rivets.The eyeball vents that Vans supply are rubish, you could drive a truck through the gap between the butterfly and the housing so I am going to take them apart and modify them somehow.
