The manual tells you how important it is to keep the parts in good condition, and that scratches can lead to failure, so when I unwrapped the main spar I was very disappointed to find these tooling marks in such a critical place. Vans told me it would be okay to polish them out and re-prime them. I suppose they are only about 4thou deep, perhaps I am being too critical.
