Post 2 of 5. After trimming the rear spars slightly and re-fitting the wings they lined up great. I used drift pins that I made on the lathe, they make the job so much easier. Now for setting the incidence angle. The manual calls for level readings to be taken between the webbs of the front and rear spars ( I have seen this done wrong on so many web sites, it may not make much difference but ! ) So my understanding is 1" in front of the skin join and 7/16th infront of the rivet line.
I made these drift pins they are a couple of thou less than the close tollerance bolts
