I made the decision today to do away with the cnopy jettison handle from the panel, instead I am going to shorten it and secure it to the sub-panel with a P clip. I fitted the PS501 4 place intercom utilising the old handle hole (which incedently is slightly off centre) for the centre switch on the unit.Although the SL40 radio has a built in 2 place intercom, it has no audio input and I have heard that the intercom is not very good so I am having to fit this 4 place intercom to enable me to connect the audio from the KMD150, the Dynon D100 and D120 and the GTX300 transponder to the headsets.
