It suddenly dawned on me that having just spent so much money on avionics it would be nice to be able to lock the canopy, since I bought a mag switch from Vans and it came with two cam locks, I thought I might as well use one of them. I have seen something similar done on a couple of other RVs
First I made a slot through the latch mechanism
Made a dog legg in the lever
And fitted it through the side skin, just need to make a notch in the lower angle for the back nut
