I installed the V-Dipole AV-12L in the vertical stabilizer. Some trimming was required for the base to fit. I added a doubler to help strengthen the top cap area. The rudder can swing without interference. Overall a good install and I am happy with the way it turned out. I wanted the antenna located high so I didn’t have to worry about it being in the way (versus being mounted down by tie down ring) when I install the cargo pod underneath the airplane.
