Drilled main elevator horn control arms to center bearing, had to make a drill bushing so to not damage the bearing. The placement of spacer washers provided a little tricky to put into place but all ended well. Drilled the elevator push rod bolthole. Mounted the VS front spar attach bracket. Fabricated four F-1098 shims for HS mounting to Tail Cone. Clecod and attached the HS to the Tail Cone after removing the Elevators. Then came time to "square" the HS to the Tail Cone. This was accomplished by measuring from the outer most aft point on the HS to the most forward center rivet location on top of the tail cone. Once in place the final mounting holes and spacer / shims where matched drilled into the Tail Cone.
