Brief Description: Bending Tabs and trim tab bottom skins
Started today with bending the E-919 and E-1019 (right side) Trim Tab Skins by using two of the wedges created from when I made the Trim Tab Blocks. This provided a nice clamping surface to hold the skins in place so they didn't move. Each tab was bent into position using a piece of wood and some elbow grease with a hammer. After that I final drilled all the #40 holes in the Trim Tabs. I dismantled the Trim Tabs so I could put a 15-degree bend in the lower portion of the Trim Tab skins. This will allow the Trim Tab to move freely without interference to the elevator. I then trimmed and attached the elevator horns made from E-918 and E-917 (E-1018 and E-1017 right side) parts to the trim tab elevators. And finally I then proceeded to dimple, debur the skins and parts.
