Brief Description:  Trailing Edge

Double-flush riveting the Rudder Trailing Edge. I had been a little worried about this step since so many people complain about trying to get a straight trailing edge as the final result, well I used a piece of 2" x 2" steel angle iron as my back-riveting plate. I decided to put half of the manufactured heads on one side and the shop heads on the other. I started in the middle and worked my way out by "setting" the rivets as I went. I then flipped the rudder over and did the same to that side. I then viewed down the trailing edge for any hooks or sways, so far none. Then I flipped the rudder again and started the process over again but this time setting the rivets completely..........let see how it turned out. Now to just finish this thing up with rolling the leading edge and adding the counterbalance weight.
