Started to trim top rudder fairing to correct size, while doing so the fairing cracked slightly down the middle seam, I will fix this when I glass the fairings into place. Finished fitting the top fairing then moved to the bottom rudder fairing. Trimmed about 1/2 inch from the flange on the bottom fairing, trimmed the end piece for the AEX wedge. Drilled, dimpled, countersunk and clecod into place. I created a backing plate that will be fiber glassed into the marker/strobe location. The plate will have threaded attach holes so the to screws securing the strobe and light fixture will attach at this point making for easy removal and replacement.
