Started putting together the HS. I attached the inboard hinge bracket’s (HS-911) assembly with the bearing (VA-146) and set the torque on the AN3-5A bolts and AN365-1032 nuts to 25 in/lbs. That is not much more than finger tight it seems. Riveted the spar web and stiffeners together, then moved on to riveting the Inspar Ribs to the spar. Had to remove some rivets when I started with the ribs, the thin pieces kept curling up when riveted so I reversed the direction I had the manufactured head placed on. This helped tremendously, and had no curling of edges. Lots of hand riveting and bucking involved, I don’t have the correct yoke for the squeezer for this operation. No biggie, just got some bucking time logged!
