Sandra and I needed to go to Carlisle today on family business, so I got up early and dashed up to the garage for an hour of spraying.
First I checked the results of stuff I had left in the small paint booth overnight. Not all good. A daddy-long-legs had crawled over one part before finally expiring on the wet paint. One other part can only be described as "curdled". I think I had applied water-based top coat while the two-part primer was still not quite dry. No time to fix this today. Other parts had paint runs...
I did however dash off a couple of coats on the fuselage side panels, and went off for the day hoping for the best.
