Brief Description:  Interior painting of fuselage centre section

Yet another lovely day, so the wings get another airing. I had left the paint booth in place (I can get the wings in alongside, but not Sandra's car) so was ready to fire up the spray gun.

Picture 1 shows the result. I had previously decided not to paint the "towers", but this is now glaringly obvious, so I should have done so. Pictures 1 and 2 show the results.

Pleased to be done, I removed all of the masking and demolished the paint booth. In the light of day I could now see that there were several areas where the paint was too thin or had cracked and you can see the white primer. I don't know why, though it was marginally too cold for painting.

Anyway, I was disappointed at the prospect of having to spend several hours remasking and erecting the paint booth to add another coat.

Given my frame of mind, it's not surprising that the days' events got worse and worse...
