Today Keith and Justin arrived at 09:00 with two trailers. I intended to display the aircraft at the Perth Airshow as part of a Scottish Aero Club static exhibit.
The fuselage just fitted one 7-foot wide trailer, with the tailplane.
The wings had to be transported in two trips as Justin's enclosed trailer was too small to carry two wings at once. The tail fin and rudder were carried in a car.
Fortunately the shipping caused no damage, so I spent a while installing the wings (5 minutes), and the tail parts (somewhat longer). This was the first time I had seen everything assembled together.
