The finish kit is available, so I placed a "day 1" order, though I believe many folk pre-ordered. As I am nowhere needing it it's not a priority for me. Nonetheless, Vans have confirmed a ship date of 27th April. This is a heavy and bulky kit. I was quoted around $900 for air freight, and only slightly less for sea freight - door-to-door. Aeroplane parts should surely fly, so that's what I went for.
The finish kit includes the upholstered seats and seat belts. First "option" decisions required - what colour(s)? I have not even decided on the exterior colours, let alone the cockpit. I have ordered black seat belts, and deferred the decision on the seats.
The latter are provided by a third-party (Flightline Interiors) who can offer a variety of colours and materials (e.g. leather) at additional cost. I've requested a colour chart to help me figure out what to do.
