Family were coming to tea, and the weather was not flyable so I squeezed in another paint session. I had finally decided I couldn't live without Sandra's hairdryer, so rushed off to Homebase to buy a heat gun. As luck would have it, they were doing 20% off so I got a half-decent one for £24. The drive to and from the store was a bit hair-raising. Floods everywhere. Indeed the front metre of the garage floor was also flooded. Fortunately the floor slopes upwards preventing further mess.
With gun at the ready painting proceeded apace. I got everything finished. So now I am ready to install side panels, the rollover bar, the baggage bulkhead, and eventually the turtle deck skins, once the tailcone has been attached.
Picture 1 shows some the parts finally ready for use.
