Brief Description: Priming the lower forward fuselage
Having prepared the various parts for the forward fuselage, I primed them in the usual way. I then set to with the epoxy primer. It came in three containers. The primer is mixed 2:1 with the catalyst, and should be left for 30 minutes to "mature". This cocktail is then further diluted 2:1 with a thinner. The instructions call for a light tack coat, followed by two medium coats, each at 15-minute intervals. As I could only put the parts in my spray booth one or two at a time, this took ages. However, I was delighted with the result.
Now past the 600 hour mark, so there's no way I'm going to have an aeroplane within 600 hours or even 900 hours.
