Rupert and Claire came for tea, so Rupert got press-ganged into some logistical support. I only wanted to achieve two small tasks. The first was to put some small casters on the temporary wing rack so that it could be moved. This involved moving the wing off it. We managed to stack one on top of another tied together with - plastic bags! Embarrassment prevented me taking a photo. However, the job was accomplished without two wing skeletons crashing to the floor. The casters (£4.99 from Homebase) are crap but considering the (hopefully) very temporary nature of the work, I'll make do.
The second task was to remove the second storey of my wing/tailcone trolley so that I could put long enough bolts on to ensure that it is truly secure.
In themselves, these two tasks were five minutes apiece, but took over an hour as we had to keep moving things to get tools etc. Currently, efficiency has dropped to around 20% due to workshop overcrowding. I'll have to crack on with the wings to resolve this problem.
