Just completed my inventory on the RV12 fuselage kit. Congratulations to Vans! Just two very minor omissions.
AN365-632A #6 Stopnut. 27 delivered instead of 28. K1100-08 Platenut-c-sunk #8 44 delivered instead of 45 (actually one of wrong size delivered)
There were also 3 backordered items.
As for the wing kit, everything was very securely packed, with masses of paper.
This kit contains a lot of small parts and hardware, which took some time to count and store. As for the wings, I had high-level storage ready for most of the smaller parts. I stored some of the sub-kits in plastic containers in the roof space above the garage.
Again, I organised the crate so that the sheet metal could remain in the box, oriented vertically to minimise floor space.
